Editorial Standards
Our commitment to accuracy, transparency, and integrity in every article we publish about sustainable healthy eating practices.
We believe in building trust through rigorous fact-checking, clear sourcing, and honest communication with our readers.

Our Five Core Principles
Accuracy First
Every claim about nutrition, food science, and healthy eating is verified against peer-reviewed research and expert consensus before publication.
Transparent Sourcing
We disclose our sources, link to original research, and explain our reasoning. Readers always know where information comes from and why we present it.
Clear Disclaimers
We clearly distinguish between educational information and personal guidance. Readers understand that our content is informational, not personalized advice.
Expert Collaboration
Our editorial board includes nutrition scientists, food culture researchers, and sustainability experts who review complex topics for accuracy and context.
Living Content
Science evolves. We update articles when new research emerges, and we document all significant changes for reader transparency and trust.
Our Fact-Checking Process
Research & Source Identification
We identify credible sources for every significant claim. This includes peer-reviewed journals, government nutrition guidelines, university research centers, and recognized expert organizations focused on food science and sustainable eating.
Expert Review
Articles about nutrition science or food health topics are reviewed by at least one member of our advisory board. They verify factual accuracy, note potential gaps, and ensure claims are properly contextualized and not overstated.
Transparency Documentation
We document our sources within the article. Readers see where data comes from and can explore original research themselves. When discussing emerging topics with limited research, we explicitly state this limitation.
Conflict-of-Interest Assessment
We disclose any relevant affiliations, partnerships, or potential conflicts. If content is influenced by partner relationships or if authors have financial interests related to a topic, readers are informed clearly and upfront.
Ongoing Monitoring & Updates
After publication, we monitor for new research, reader feedback, and emerging corrections. Articles are updated when significant new information becomes available, and update dates are clearly marked so readers know the publication history.

Corrections & Updates Policy
How We Handle Corrections
If you notice an error in our content—whether a factual mistake, broken source link, or misrepresentation—we want to know. We take all corrections seriously and fix verified errors promptly.
Submitting a correction: Email us at [email protected] with the article title, the specific error, and why you believe it's incorrect. Include evidence if possible.
Our response: We review all corrections within five business days. If the error is verified, we correct it and add an editor's note explaining what was changed and why. For major errors, we issue a separate update notice.
Transparency: You'll always be credited for reporting the error unless you prefer anonymity. All published corrections are listed in our updates archive so the community benefits from the correction.
Article Updates & New Research
When new research becomes available or our understanding evolves, we update articles to reflect current evidence. This is part of our commitment to living, learning content.
Minor updates: Small clarifications, updated statistics, or links to new studies are added without a separate note if they don't change the article's core message.
Significant updates: When we substantially revise our guidance or change a key point, we add a "Last Updated" date and an editor's note explaining the change. This preserves the article's history for readers.
Tracking changes: Articles about evolving topics (like emerging research on specific foods) include a visible "Updated [date]" indicator so readers know they're getting current information.
Reader Feedback & Fact-Check Requests
We value your input. If you have questions about our sourcing, want to suggest a topic, or believe an article lacks important context, please reach out.
Email us: Send comments to [email protected] with the subject line "Editorial Feedback" or "Fact-Check Request."
What we do with feedback: All substantive feedback is reviewed by our editorial team. Common themes inform our future article planning. If you identify a genuine issue, we investigate and make corrections as needed.
Our Commitment to You
We understand that you trust us with information that affects your daily choices about food and health. That trust is earned through honesty, rigor, and accountability. We don't claim to have all the answers, but we promise to give you the most accurate, well-researched information available—and to be transparent when the science is still evolving. If we fall short of these standards, we correct it. That's our promise.
